About the Course

This two-year diploma program equips learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills in social work, counseling, social policy, public administration, and human rights. It is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

Minimum Academic Requirements for Intake

To qualify for admission into the National Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration, applicants must meet any of the following minimum requirements:

  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes obtained in relevant subjects.

  • National Certificate in Social Work and Social Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • Other equivalent qualifications as recognized by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

  • Mature age entry: Applicants aged 25 and above who pass the mature age entry exams are also eligible.
