About the Course
This two-year certificate program is designed for individuals who desire to pursue a career in social work, community development, or social administration. Students are introduced to key concepts in human behavior, social justice, public administration, community engagement, and social welfare services.
Through a blend of theory and field-based practice, students will learn to assess and respond to the needs of vulnerable populations while promoting dignity, equity, and inclusion.

Minimum Academic Requirements for Intake:
To be eligible for admission into the National Certificate in Social Work and Social Administration, applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum academic criteria:

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five passes, including English Language.

Junior Certificate or equivalent qualification as approved by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).

Mature age entry: Applicants aged 25 years and above who pass the mature age entry examinations.
